Kylie Toynton B.Sp.Path
Member Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
I have been working as a Speech Pathologist in Western NSW since 2000, and I have a wide range of experience working across the lifespan, having been employed in both disability and community health sectors. I graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, Melbourne and have since completed a Master of Gerontology at University of New England, Armidale.
I understand the barriers and difficulties of living and working in rural areas, so I have a strong commitment to providing quality services to people in rural NSW. I provide assessment, consultation, individual and group therapy, programming and education services to child care centres, preschools, early intervention, schools and community clients in Gunnedah and surrounding localities. My areas of interest are early intervention, girls with Aspergers’s/high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, school aged language and literacy and the use of technology in speech therapy.
